Please read this Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing any order on MamaCare.ng. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out in this policy. MamaCare.ng reserves the right to accept or decline any return request at its sole discretion.

General Policy Overview

MamaCare.ng is committed to providing quality products to Nigerian mothers and babies. However, due to the nature of maternal, infant, and healthcare products — which include personal care items, consumables, and hygiene products — our return and refund policy is strictly limited and subject to the conditions detailed in this document.

Note

ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL unless specifically covered under the conditions listed below. MamaCare.ng will not be held liable for any return requests that do not meet our stated eligibility criteria.

Non-Returnable Items (No Exceptions)

The following categories are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • All opened or used personal care, hygiene, and skincare products
  • Baby formula, breast milk storage products, and any consumable nutritional items
  • Breast pumps, nipple shields, nursing pads, or any product that makes contact with skin or body fluids once opened
  • Maternity underwear, nursing bras, and all intimate apparel once removed from original packaging
  • Medications, vitamins, supplements, and health products of any kind
  • Digital products, gift cards, vouchers, or any downloadable content
  • Items marked as "Final Sale", "Flash Sale", "Clearance", or "Bundle Deal" at the time of purchase
  • Products that have been assembled, washed, or used in any manner
  • Any item returned without the original packaging, tags, labels, or accessories
Warning

Opening a product's packaging constitutes acceptance of the item. MamaCare.ng will not accept returns of any opened hygiene or personal care item regardless of the reason stated.

Eligible Return Conditions

MamaCare.ng may consider returns ONLY under the following strict conditions. All conditions must be met simultaneously:

  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original factory-sealed packaging with all tags intact
  • The return request is made within SEVEN (7) calendar days of delivery confirmation
  • The customer provides photographic or video evidence of the issue within 24 hours of delivery
  • The item received is demonstrably different from what was ordered (wrong product, wrong size)
  • The item arrived with a manufacturer defect visible upon inspection of the sealed packaging

MamaCare.ng's determination of whether a product meets return eligibility criteria is final and binding. Customer disagreement with MamaCare.ng's assessment does not constitute grounds for a return or refund.

Return Request Procedure

Customers wishing to request a return must strictly follow the procedure below. Failure to follow this procedure will result in automatic disqualification of the return request:

Provide Your Details

Include your full name, order number, phone number, and a clear description of the issue

Submit Evidence

Attach clear photographs or a video showing the item in its original sealed condition alongside the issue

Await Written Approval

Do NOT send any item back without written approval from MamaCare.ng. Items returned without approval will not be accepted and no refund will be issued

Ship the Item

Upon approval, ship the item to the address provided by MamaCare.ng at the customer's own cost and risk

Warning

MamaCare.ng will not be responsible for items returned without prior written approval. Such items will not be processed and no refund or exchange will be issued.

Shipping Costs for Returns

The customer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs. Specifically:

  • All return delivery fees are borne entirely by the customer
  • MamaCare.ng does not provide prepaid return labels under any circumstances
  • Original delivery fees paid at checkout are non-refundable under all circumstances
  • If a returned item is lost or damaged in transit back to MamaCare.ng, the customer bears full responsibility
  • Customers are advised to use a tracked courier service for all returns

Refund Terms

Where a return is approved by MamaCare.ng in writing, the following refund terms apply:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit at MamaCare.ng's discretion
  • MamaCare.ng reserves the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to 20% from any approved refund
  • Delivery fees, handling fees, and processing charges are non-refundable
  • Partial refunds may be issued where only part of an order qualifies under these terms
  • Refunds will not be issued until the returned item has been physically received, inspected, and approved
Important

MamaCare.ng is not obligated to issue a refund if the returned item does not meet all conditions upon inspection, even if the return was pre-approved. The customer will bear the cost of return shipping in such cases.

Exchanges

Product exchanges are subject to availability and are offered at the sole discretion of MamaCare.ng. An exchange does not exempt the customer from compliance with all return conditions stated in this policy. MamaCare.ng reserves the right to offer store credit in lieu of a physical exchange where stock is unavailable.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the event of receiving a damaged or incorrect item, the customer must:

  • Report the issue via email with photographic evidence within 24 hours of delivery
  • Retain all original packaging materials and courier delivery notes
  • Not use, open further, or tamper with the item in any way
Warning

Failure to report within 24 hours of delivery will result in the claim being automatically rejected. MamaCare.ng's liability is limited to the value of the item(s) concerned and does not extend to any consequential, indirect, or special losses.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before they are dispatched from our fulfilment centre. Once dispatched, this policy applies in full.

  • Cancellations must be requested via email to info@mamacare.ng or sales@mamacare.ng
  • MamaCare.ng cannot guarantee cancellation even if requested immediately after placing an order
  • Where a cancellation is successfully processed before dispatch, a full refund will be issued within 5–10 business days
  • Cancelled orders where delivery has already been arranged may incur a cancellation or handling fee

Limitation of Liability

MamaCare.ng's total liability to any customer shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific product(s) in dispute. MamaCare.ng is not liable for:

  • Any loss of income, business, profit, or data arising from a purchase or failed delivery
  • Indirect, special, or consequential losses of any kind
  • Delays caused by third-party logistics providers, courier companies, or force majeure events
  • Adverse reactions to products where the customer has not read manufacturer usage instructions

Changes to This Policy

MamaCare.ng reserves the right to amend, update, or replace this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice to customers. The version published on www.mamacare.ng at the time of a customer's purchase shall govern that transaction. It is the customer's responsibility to review this policy before each purchase.
