With hygiene at the forefront of everyone’s minds our cups add an extra layer of reassurance as the drinking straw contains BACSHIELD™ antimicrobial technology. BACSHIELD™ is a commonly used silver-ion technology that provides antimicrobial product protection against unwanted microbes, recognized for centuries with no harmful effects. It works by preventing the growth of unwanted microbes that can cause product degradation, discoloration, staining or odor. This is achieved with silver ions mixed in the material in the straw*, preventing microbes from multiplying. All our products are BPA, BPS, PVC, Phthalate and Nitrosamine free. The antimicrobial technology does not protect the user or others against disease causing organisms. The technology is not a substitute for good hygiene and/or cleaning practices?
